Updated COVID-19 letter – 9/30/2020

Dear Halliday Dance Family,
As we continue to follow the developing local, state, federal, and CDC guidelines in regards to the Corona Virus/COVID-19, we will remain committed to the health and safety of all our customers, staff, and visitors at Halliday Dance. We will open with all of the following new policies and safeguards in place to help keep us safe.

New policies & safeguards in adherence to CDC, state of NJ, and Pennsauken Township guidelines:

STAFF
All staff must:

• Wear face masks at all times
• Optional eye shields & Gloves
• Have temperature taken upon entering
• Sanitize hands upon entering
• Wash hands before, mid, & after class
• Maintain social distancing at all times

STUDENTS
All students must:

• Wear face mask at all times
• Have temperature taken upon entering
• Sanitize hands upon entering
• Wash hands before, mid, & after class
• Maintain social distancing at all times
  (dance or sit in marked areas only)
• Not eat or bring food to the studio
• Get checked in daily (to verify health status)
• Get Picked up between classes
• Get Picked up on time

HALLIDAY DANCE
Halliday Dance must:

• Maintain current 30% or less occupancy
• Maintain cleanliness & sanitizing studio daily & throughout the day
• Clean frequently touched areas often throughout day
• Close lunchroom/play/loitering areas
• Mark social distancing for staff and students
• Provide air purification/ UV sanitizing
• Provide one safe entrance & exit for staff, students, & visitors
• Limit class enrollment to maintain social distancing.

For students who prefer, Halliday Dance will also offer virtual classes per request.

Effective Monday July 6, 2020, all of these guidelines & safeguards must be enforced in order to keep us all healthy and safe.

No one could’ve predicted the new times we are living in now. Dance is back. But like everything else, it is very different. Let’s all work together to continue the “Art of Dance” safely!
